Bernhard Bamert

Bernhard Bamert was born in Wettingen in 1970 and took up the trombone at the age of 11. After training as a graphic designer, he opted for a career in music. A graduate of the Swiss Jazz School in Bern, he has played with a range of well-known formations including the Zurich Jazz Orchestra, the Martin Streule Jazz Orchestra, Kaspar Ewald's Exorbitantes Kabinett, the Joe Haider Jazz Orchestra, mats-up, Swinging Europe 2000, Generations Big Band 2002, Grand Mother's Funck, Herbie Kopf's Nonet U.F.O., the Adrian Frey Septet and the Swiss Jazz Orchestra. He has taught jazz trombone at Musikhochschule Zürich” since 2006.

Thomas Lüthi

Thomas Lüthi was born in Schaffhausen in 1973. He started learning the clarinet at the age of 11 but soon switched to the saxophone. After the Matura (A levels), he studied with Andy Scherrer at the Swiss Jazz School in Bern. In 1998 he was awarded the "generations - Internationales Jazztreffen Frauenfeld" prize. He plays with various bands including mats-up, Herbie Kopf Nonet "U.F.O.", Chris Wiesendangers Undersong and the Joe Haider Jazz Orchestra.

Christian Niederer

Christian Niederer was born in Zurich in 1971 and started playing the drums at the age of 13. After the Matura (A levels), he graduated from Lucerne Jazz School under Norbert Pfammatter. Today he is a member of bands such as The Clients Funk Society, Greasy!, Groovin J 5, Alex Hendriksen's Groove Experience and Die Blumenzüchter.
Christian Niederer plays PAISTE cymbals
